I was introduced to these strings probably 10 years ago by a great player and good friend Nick “Twister” Owen. I was moaning one day to Nick about the damage that my existing strings did to my dainty fingers (nothing to do with the aggression that I play with of course) and he suggested that I try the Player range from Elites supplied by The Bass Centre. These were a revelation. Not only giving me a stunning tone but also reducing the shredded skin!

I love the medium gauge. Even though I play hard I also like to bend the strings a little with my left hand.
